Premium access is activated directly on your own personal Spotify account. You can use an existing account and keep your playlists, saved music and preferences, or provide a new account for activation.

Spotify Premium 12 months gives you a full year of Premium music streaming on your personal Spotify account. You can upgrade an existing account or use a new account, depending on your preference.

With Premium access, you can enjoy music without advertising, download tracks for offline listening and play songs in any order. In addition, Spotify provides greater control over playback and queue management.

If you already use Spotify, you can continue using the same account. Therefore, your playlists, saved tracks, followed artists and listening preferences remain associated with your profile while Premium access is enabled.

Can I use my existing Spotify account? +

Yes. Premium access can be activated on your existing personal Spotify account, so you can keep your playlists, saved songs and preferences.

Can I use a new Spotify account? +

Yes. You may provide a new personal Spotify account instead if you prefer to keep the subscription separate from an existing profile.

Will I keep my playlists and saved music? +

Yes. If you use your existing account, your playlists, saved tracks, followed artists and personal preferences remain associated with that account.

Can I change my password after activation? +

Yes. Once activation has been completed, you can change your Spotify account password normally.
